Sabrina Bowman (Coordinator): "Andrew does one thing for Ecology Ottawa: graphic design. But what a job he does. Andrew has designed our 2008 CouncilWatch report, our 2007 Annual Report, our green buildings report, the new Ecology Ottawa brochure and a myriad of other items, including the tickets for the annual dinner. His creativity and ability to take a poorly-thought out concept from an Ecology Ottawa staffperson and turn it into something beautiful is remarkable."
"What makes Andrew an excellent volunteer is not just his high-quality work. Andrew is always willing to take on everything we throw at him, even if it's something as boring as changing the text on our business card to something as challenging as essential coming up with the entire promotional pamphlet based on little other than a few sketchy ideas. And he's fast! As in 24-hours turnover fast. When we give him a deadline, he NEVER fails to reach it. When we ask for changes, he does them immediately, even when it takes us much longer to get back to him with changes. Andrew's work is a visual mirror of the quality of research and writing we are trying to put out and his speed, reliability, quality and professionalism has prevented disaster more than once. Andrew has continued to be committed to Ecology Ottawa even after he left the city to go to school. He continues to astound us with the quality and timeliness of his work, and his unerring dedication to the organization."
